The label "OBJECTION!" is critical of society and the associated campaign "I'M HUNGRY FOR OBJECTION" were created as a part of my Bachelor Thesis. The campaign is against ideals of beauty that are both unrealistic and nearly impossible to be reached. It operates, informs and explains. Guerilla actions and streetart attract attention and bring the issue of eroticization back into the public's awareness.

In my second semester at university a friend and I created an exhibition for a domestic assault shelter. The landscape of cartons informs about the topic and encourages concerned women to get their normal life back again. That's also the title of the exhibition: "Hol dir dein Leben zurück!" - in English: "Fetch your life back!"
At two listening stations the visitor can listen to volunteers of the domestic assault shelter who are telling their experiences.
The exhibition was realized by the women's right organisation Terre Des Femmes in March 2014. At the opening the local drama ensemble Bluespot Productions performed a play that was about domestic violence.
ABOVE is one of the projects that I created while I was studying at the University of California Santa Barbara. It's about changing the perspective, looking up and perceiving objects from a different angle. I took these objects and built new unusual items that still seem kind a familiar.
Neither the colors of the pictures nor the shapes are edited.

In my 4th semester at university the main project was creating a commercial for the German Red Cross. We were a group of four people and decided to pick a field of duty of the Red Cross that isn't as known as others. Furthermore we didn't just want to show the work of volunteers or create a normal image movie - we wanted to have a different story and a moment of surprise. An add that the viewer remembers.
Every day and every second there are so many stories and tales that are happening all over the world. The photo series 'Night on earth' shows moments all over the world - telling every time a different story.

I always wanted to go to New York and when I finished High School I finally got the trip as a present from my parents. It was an amazing time - New York is an incredible city full of life, different cultures and friendly people. And of course full of great photo subjects.
The magazine "Reizvoll“ was created together with a group of young upcoming editors. "Reizvoll“ - translated "appealing/lovely“ is about sex. Sex sells and sex is everywhere: In commercials, on TV - we are surrounded by it day by day. It’s a permanent topic and sometimes it seems like there are no limits anymore. But there are still taboos no one wants to talk about - What is Asexuality? Do people still love at old age? Do disabled people have sex? …
The young authors talked with these people whose image is not fitting into the image of sexuality that media shows us every day.
Our intention was to create a unique magazine with unusual topics and a different view on the topic of sexuality - I worked very close together with the editors and designed the layout. "Reizvoll" was published by the South West Newspaper in April 2014.
